As a director, Aniobi has helmed episodes of “Rap Sh!t” (max), “Survival of the Thickest” (Netflix) and “insecure” (HBO), as well as the award-winning short film, “Honeymoon,” inspired by her own parents’ arranged marriage. Aniobi is Nigerian, attended Stanford University and UCLA and hails from Dallas, Texas.

Course Quote

"Identify your brand as a writer. If you claim your brand
then you get to say what type of writer you are before
someone else decides for you. It's important to know
what you write as far as genre and style, so that you
can talk to people about where you want to go."
